Designing a solution for future homes that accommodates diverse family structures while adhering to Passivhaus standards is a commendable challenge. This resulting competition entry was shortlisted for a national competition run by the Architects Journal publication.
With a focus on energy efficiency, renewable power, and sustainable materials we addressed the needs for contemporary housing needs and climate concerns. The emphasis on natural light and adaptability to various orientations for passive solar design demonstrates a thoughtful approach to maximizing comfort and minimizing energy use.
A mass housing solution aimed at achieving zero carbon is particularly relevant today, as it aligns with global sustainability goals.
